Love my slow cooker I use it all year round for batch cooking, eat one portion then freeze the remainder.

Love mine do stews, meat joints, currys ect bang it in at night leave it overnight on low then ping it onto warm when i wake up, its ready for whatever time i get in

Only as good as what you put in it.

PS the Lancashire hotpot was a lamb/veg mix originally put by poor housewifes into the used ovens of bread makers. Same principle.
