That’s so true the best relationship is when you can both find your happiness within yourself so you don’t have to really depend on each other to make you happy

This. Which is why I’d much prefer to be the third wheel in another’s relationship; not infidelity, though a bi couple.

This way we can all have our needs met. There’s no need to lie, cheating also becomes irrelevant.

I've only ever left a gf for either lying or cheating on me. Any other reason is just a cop out. And who ever puts money as a reason is sad. My best relationship was in school years so neither of us had money.

Part of the reason I left my first husband was money. I simply couldn't contemplate a future with a gambling addict who put most of his money on the back of a horse. That may be sad but I'm a whole lot happier and better off without him

I guess if you're both working hard to keep a house and kids and one person is just throwing that money away that would be very distressing so can understand that. But I don't like people that will only date someone if they have money car house etc. We weren't born with these things. Love should be about attraction and feeling, just wanting to be with that person. Regardless of status, money, possessions etc. I really hate what this world has become. Sorry, I went on a rant. X

Can’t comment on break up as been with my wife since we were kids. But I can say why I think we have stayed together. We laugh a lot together we are more like friends than married couple. Share things but also let each other have own space. I tell her everyday I love her kiss her every morning before leaving the house. Help with house work. Make sex interesting things can get dull if no effort put in. Be there for each other in good and bad times. Enjoy life together.

It wouldn't bother me if they did condemn me.

However money is significant in a relationship if there's not enough of it for whatever reason it makes everything else more difficult.

For me, I got married at 20 and he was my first proper boyfriend and while we had three wonderful children we in my opinion anyway were far too young, by the time we reached 33 we had grown in different directions, our focus was our kids but we always said we would never stay together for the kids sake and since we split our relationship with each other has gone back to friends and where we are in a happy place.
