couple, us we him her.

I'm talking legal stuff admin not roids.

Have any guy's of error advancing years such as myself tried testosterone booster?

Does it work?

Have you regained some lost muscle mass, libido, energy levels and able to burn fat better??

As we age our testosterone levels deplete quite rapidly and I have found that in conjunction with my diabetes meds and other my energy levels and ability to fat burn etc...

Have all but stopped.

Before I go down the GP route of test patches and so on .

I was wondering if anyone has had any success from natural off the shelf supplements.

Cheers

There all a waste of money mate. Only stuff to up your test levels would be a form of testosterone. If your having bother speak to your doc about trt

They're all rubbish and any increase you get will get will be so tiiny it wont make any difference.

TRT from docs is an option but criteria for receiving it is very tight so unlikely you'll get it.

Oh and steroids are not illegal to own for personal use.

They’re terrible. You used to be able to buy pro-hormones that fell into the grey area, I’m sure that they were outlawed with the rest of synthetic substances though.

The only route is trt from your gp, or to find a good lab and administer it yourself.

Pro hormones are still available legally, not the right choice for for what the op is discussing though.

Self medicating TRT is becoming more and more popular these days.

I think I will go to my doctor. As I have to be really careful due to my diabetes.

I had to take some steroids for an ear infection a couple of years ago and my blood sugar levels when sky high.

Unfortunately the medication suppresses natural testosterone production so it's a double edged sword.

Wouldn’t that have been a corticosteroid? They’re different entirely. Test isn’t an actual steroid, so shouldn’t have any impact on your diabetes.

Best choice, to warn you it can take a year or more to get a decision, in a lot of cases. Several blood tests needed over a prolonged period to get picture of your test levels.

Chams or Socials

Have you tried doing some weight lifting sessions? Start light and build up over a few weeks, its a good natural way to boost t levels without pumping your body full chemicals.

Any form of synthetic test is an anabolic steroid mate. It's only natural test that wouldn't be classed as a steroid

I’d learned differently, tren, deca etc = anabolic steroid. Test is naturally produced in the body, thus not considered a steroid, just enhancement. Either way, it shouldn’t, to my knowledge, have any impact upon blood sugar levels.

I wouldn’t use any boosters etc.

Speak to the doc get on TRT. I have been on it for a few years. It’s brilliant does not do anything for muscle tone but in terms of well-being and sex drive I cannot recommend it enough.

I would say take susaton 250.

Go to the gym.

Research.

Your dicks always up on steds

Deca goes good with sus

You will automatically see a drop in body fat. No weight.

Reason why you drop fat is if you go gym, gain muscle, muscle burns fat. For a run aswell for the afterburn

But saying this comes with side effects, everyone is different and their body reacts different

Your half right, tren and deca are categorised differently but they still all fall under anabolic steroids. Test is an anabolic steroid when its synthetic and made in a lab and Natural test has anabolic properties, hence why you can pack on muscle ect when your younger and lose the same muscle as you get older and test levels drop. Also they can cause a spike in blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels too

Central

Your body is a hugely complex self-organising system that looks for homeostasis or adjustment where necessary. It will synthesise what it needs, if your diet is appropriate - though you may disagree with it, when you'd like different results to what it perceives as right for you.

If you are definitely eating very healthily, without deficiencies of anything and continuously, so your body is not deprived - and have no health problems, you could largely look at your lifestyle, to influence changes.

Certain physical profiles will result in your body making adjustments to its hormones. If you adjust reasonably how you are physically active, as well as reducing stress levels alongside getting enough sleep, you would likely increase your testosterone levels. If you adjust downwards afterwards, you'd likely get it to fall. All things being equal, your body will maintain what it has, although always with an ongoing decline due to age. You're looking to buck the trend. Taking synthetic forms/supplements of Testosterone, will typically get your body intelligently to suppress its own natural production, where it senses you are in excess of needs.

Look at your body's condition, your activity types, diet, stress and sleep/rest, for the healthiest ways to work against natural decline through age.

This is not true - a rise in testosterone is followed by a rise in estrogen. High estrogen, as well as low estrogen, causes erection problems.

Do not take medical advice off a stedhead - they haven't got a clue. You will have difficulty getting TRT therapy on the NHS, so you will probably have to go private.

I take 'my protein' test boosters 3 a day as recommended, purely for gym use, ive noticed my sex drive has gone through the roof, produce more seamen and muscle mass. They dont really have disadvantages aslong as you dont abuse them- yes im a medical professional (dr)

As with any drug as such safe drugs can become unsafe if abused.

I'll add to that, try training legs maybe do some squats and go for a run every night. You'll notice a massive difference withing afew weeks.

Training legs produces a huge amount of natural testosterone.

If he never used an AI during cycle nor an adequate pct after cycle: this is the common outcome. Though, even with proper precautions, you can still crash your natural testosterone production, which leaves a lifetime of trt as the only option.

Don't do drugs kids.

An AI isn't always required, depends how you react. Some people are prone to high estrogen others not.

PCT will never return your test levels to the pre cycle levels it just gives it a kick start, can take months to become normal again. Hence erectile issues.

Green veg, lifting weights. If your doc doesn't want to test your hormone levels you can get it done privately. About £100.

Reduction of testosterone is natural, but I understand it's not some thing you don't want to try and slow as much as possible.

I would recommend ZMA supplement, and 3000UI of vitamin d on a daily basis. With regular weight lifting.

The thing with test boosters is there's much more to it than increasing test.

They do work to a degree but are mostly pointless. The increases are negligible and if your T is low 20% increase of fuck all is fuck all.

You can take all the boosters you like but if you have naturally high SHBG or estrogen it means any extra testosterone will not have any effect at all.

They are a money maker for the supp companies targeted at people looking for an extra edge and people buy into it without any research thinking they'll be the next worlds strongest man.

For most people you're better off making sure diet, sleep and recovery ate on point. Together all of the massively outweigh the negligible gains from test boosters.

As for the op, they are a total waste of time. Go and ask your docs for a blood test to include the below

Total testosterone

Free testosterone

Bioavailable Testosterone

This should be a minimum.

If the doc seems clueless which they often are in this area then look to go privately, it's not hugely expensive.

couple, us we him her.

FYI I lift regularly have done for years never have or never wanted to take roids.

I also have high blood pressure so have to be super careful.

Superdrug do an online questionnaire then if once it's been given the once over by a doctor you can get a home blood test kit sent out then once it's been checked you can get test patches at a price obviously.

I would prefer to go down the legit route.

My medication suppresses natural testosterone production and libido.

All I would be doing is bringing up to the levels of a healthy 50 yo rather than myself.

Cheers for everyone's input

Wow there’s some bollocks being said in this thread.

Do your best to get TRT from your doc, it might be a battle but it is possible. They use a long acting testosterone blend called Nebido now.

First, why do even want to take test boosters? Low sex drive? If so you need to have a blood test, there’s no point taking anybody’s advice until you have a blood test.

If it is because you have a low drive it might be because your SHGB is high and it’s affecting your free testosterone.

But all this is hypothetical, get a blood test and do it privately try the men’s health clinic in Manchester they sorted me out after I fucked about for ages thinking all sorts of shit and it turned out that my T levels and all the other markers were high for my age.

There is no tangiable improvement in test when taking any of them.

It does, it is very popular in the fitness world as it contains muscle building properties, there are lots of studies to that backs it up.

There’s a specialist clinic in Manchester

( maybe London too actually ) I think it’s called the centre for men’s health

He is an expert in his field and once prescribed then you will access on nhs do it’s worth the initial appointments and assessments

I actually had to get testosterone myself ( Lola) as women also lose T as they age

My take on this to address the ops question

Without doubt you can increase your natural production of t to a higher (normal) level IF they are low , you can and are producing t , you , dont exercise or lift heavy, overweight and poor diet

An increase in a mans t level from sub par to normal for age will have physical and psychological benefits

The link with age decrease of t also correlates with fat mass , fat is endocrine, it influences hormone production, as it happens it most t and promotes estrogen,

Simply lowering fat mass would improve

Eating the right foods

You Do need extra zinc and mg

And many more , poor food will limit production but the right food will promote

There are a number of t boost products that have data validating their effectiveness at normalizing t levels from a low start

2 I have experienced being maca and aspartic acid , both have given me a t hormonal like response, hornyness is remarkable

These solutions are NOT intended to raise t levels beyond the bodies genetic level but that does not mean a healthy 60 year old cannot still produce near his 35 year old levels

I'd suggest always maxing the natural approaches towards improving your own natural t levels way before any additional synthetic t replacement

Sadly ironically if you take the quickest easy option the drug will cause your body to reduce it's own t production pretty much trapping you

At 50 you may find lifting heavy , reducing body fat, and modifying diet could help (heavy is subjective and relative)

So in my opinion some t boosters are effective if their function is understood

They are NOT going to compare with bodybuilding t levels nor should they claim to ?

However for men who may either be aging or growing , and feel something is changing, those feeling may with effort be reversible x
