Some do look horrendous and must feel even worse.

I'd have it done if... 1 I could afford it. 2 I could take time off work to recover. 3 I could guarantee they would look good and no further surgery would be required later in life.

Shocking statement to make OP. A little knowledge can be dangerous. I worked for a company in the US for over 10 years that made silicone implants. I can assure you that there's many reasons other than medical grounds why people choose to get implants. It's a brave decision to make regardless of the reasons. Hmm - no evidence presented, just the summary from the judge. No jury present and no case for or against. Sounds more like a criminal case in North Korea than a rationalised and well thought out argument.

Saying that, I wonder if there is a case for further study to back up the argument. In that case I volunteer to carry out the PhD investigation into whether "fake boobs are shit", I will give up 3-4 years of my life to study it and come back with a full study. Anyone able to sponsor me?

Well for what it's worth I've a long time friend who had her boobs enhanced and prior to it I told her she was perfect allready as I thought she was hot she had her reasons for wanting them done and did and I've Gota say from experiencing her natural and now enhanced she's still as hot and sexy but her confidence has gone sky high and she's so much happier with herself so from that point alone there great as far as I'm concerned
