Ask when you add a new public picture do you know when it’s been on the new public list

You only know by checking your photos. It'll change from pending to approved.

There and to the left a bit

All pics set to public will appear on the "New Public Photos" list when they are approved - dependent on the time of day they are posted and how many other pics are posted by others around the same time, they may not stay on the first page for long
