Does anybody else just pop in there for a few items and walk out after spending £50 with 5 bags

Love this shop, there is also B&M bargains but I find that place never as tidy and no where near as good

All the time. It's usually sweets and crisps I fill up on.

That’s crazy, you should google your nearest one and visit, it’s worth it if your after toiletries and home things, soap powder so cheap, booze so cheap, crisps and chocolate so cheap lol

Will have to have a look, they are always changing

They had 4 500ml bottles of ribina for £2.00 awhile back, that’s gone now lol

It's quite possibly the John Lewis consumer demographic, together with their lack of sherbet offering, that retains my loyal custom.

Based on this thread alone, I'll not be tempted Home Bargains...

My sister started dragging me around Home Bargains, Home Sense and B&M a couple of years ago. I would walk around picking up odds and ends I didn't know I needed and do £20 in each shop.

We went in the Range today and I only bought a pair of children's gardening gloves. I resisted buying new bedding and bath sheets, as I didn't fancy carrying them.

I was tempted to buy some glasses from John Lewis a couple of weeks ago, but we were in Oxford and I wasn't sure they would survive the day.

"Errmm I think you're forgetting about lidl "

My sister is wearing a pair of winter boots from Lidl that cost £12. My £64 ones from Next have been re-heeled already and one buckle fell off.

I could have saved myself £60.

I’m assuming the cost of the re-heeling has been added to get the saving of £60.
