You rotten lot!

It’s a purely carnivorous diet.

Settlewick!

Mmmmm meat!

Seriously, I haven't heard of it and it doesn't sound particularly healthy. Does it include fish?

It’s only unhealthy if you follow the low fat high carb bollocks spouted by the government. That diet is making us very ill.

It includes anything that is animal.

I'm not sure I could, although I have found keto useful. I suppose it's carnivore plus greens, lol.

Once you start on the keto/carni WOE you don’t actually eat a big volume of food.

Some interesting articles about it. Some for and some against- probably depends on the person. If they're doing low carb anyway maybe it would be easier to adapt to. Most seem to say try it for 3 weeks and see how it works for you.

I find the greens useful for me.

Oh. I also have (black) coffee, because you'll pry it from my cold dead hands.

Yeah, I'm amazed at how much less I eat. I've calorie counted (low fat) before, and crawl up the walls under about 1800 calories. Keto, it's like... Uh, 900 isn't sustainable eat something, dumbarse (to myself).

Ha! Me too. I used to enjoy a little coffee with my cream but now I have a teaspoon of cream in my coffee. Lots of coffee.

Given the recent report that says even 25g a day of meat can significantly increase the risk of cancer , and the fact that eating meat will impact in the future of the planet in a very negative way , I wouldn’t entertain this diet for both these reasons .

That particular (useless) bit of research was a questionnaire filled in retrospectively by the participants, they were asked about ‘portion size’ but didn’t qualify want portion size actually was. Other dietary factors were completely ignored too and they were asking about meals they’d eaten weeks ago. It’s not worth the paper it’s written on.

The other bit of ‘research’ about it killing the planet is also hugely flawed.
