I don't think it's because of specific people leaving rather that their departure was a catalyst for negativity and bitching and now we're in a place where people are attempting to lift the mood.

I think there are plenty of people with good ideas and topics for threads that would be a bit more gritty but they don't want to post right now because there is still and undercurrent on sniping between certain people and they don't want to give them a place to do it.
