the gym and random places

What's your local sexual/family planning like? Do you get offered free condoms? If so... how many?

I regularly get tested and collect my pill. I got asked if I'd like condoms (won't look a gift horse) but was handed 6!

Is that the "vanilla" average??

I buy my own which isn't an issue just wondered what other places were like in terms of if you get them how many do you get?

My local clinic always hand you a bag with a few condoms, lube and leaflets after a sexual health screening as standard.

I've been going for so long and 9/10 times see the same nurse and she's aware I swing so she skips the leaflets now and hands me a bag bursting with condoms

I always get about half a dozen and then give them to my gay son to another mother as I'm not a fan of the thickness of pasante. The little paper bag always makes me giggle I don't know why as I know it's daft hahah

Birmingham city council run a program called the umbrella scheme. It offers free contraception and sti testing. It's easy, discreet and done through selected pharmacists.

The local clinic is fantastic buuuut sometimes really crap. Like when they need additional samples so I have to go back, it depends on the HCP I see that day. In terms of free condoms, I don't ever accept them - I prefer latex free condoms and meh. I buy my own.

Latex free are def way to go

I'm allergic to latex so don't have a choice. There's some cracking offers on too if you bulk buy

Latex free are def way to go

I'm allergic to latex so don't have a choice. There's some cracking offers on too if you bulk buy"

Always offered them but I’m really not fond of the make. I would just forget to take them out of my work bag, anyway, then be horribly embarrassed when they all fell out in the office while I was rummaging for my laptop charger. Easier to buy my own

I get 20 usually, but last time I commented that they were a bit small and got an extra 20 large condoms plus 6 latex to try too.

I almost asked for a carrier bag!

I give them to my kids though as I buy my own

The clinic's around here used to always offer them and gave you a bag full, probably about 2 dozen.

Nowadays they never offer and you have to ask for them. Sometimes they give you some but often they don't it depends who you see. If they do give you some it's only ever 6.

It's the same with my local clinic; they give you a little bag with 6/8 condoms and a couple sachets of lube in. The condoms are usually Durex, which are too small for me, but I never thought to ask for a larger size
