The right place

Do you still live in the same place that you grew up?

If not, how far away do you live now.

I’m probably 120 miles from where I grew up and went to school.

"No, sadly not. I'm around 150 miles away."

I’m not sad about moving away, I grew up just outside London, I much prefer life in the South West.

Seen in far off places

Circa 100 miles

I swapped city life for very rural countryside living

The big smoke was fun in my younger years / through the nineties, albeit a bit of a hazy blur!

I love the countryside, can't imagine living in a grey city.

That depends.

I'm about 1/4 from where I lived for the first 10 years on my life. Family upped sticks and moved to Wales.

I returned to my hometown after uni.

I'm 255 miles away from where I was born and grew up. I moved down South for love, gave up everything I had known all my life to be with him. He had three young girls and I don't have children. I can't even begin to tell you how hard it was being so far away from my family and starting again and looking after someone else's wee ones.

Apart from 6 years when I married and moved out, I've been in the same street for most of my life.
