Don't you get people mailing asking if you are ok ? Why is your profile hidden ?

I find the trick is to not hide your profile pic, people just see you as normal on their friendslist then. If you turn into a shadow you stand out and they click and find your profile hidden.

Ah right. I had the bright idea of opening it to view again, deleting all the text and putting 'NOT MEETING'. That didn't work either

I've had some health issues and need a break, but have friends here and enjoy the forum.

But I didn't realise how exhausting my inbox was until I realised that I felt so much better. Bloody hell it can be a chore. (I think it helps, I didn't change anything about my profile, just hid, and I've been around long enough that I'm not sure I'm a novelty anymore. And I'm not stupendously ridiculously attractive )

When I suffered a serious injury last year I tried that. The messages I got, they should prescribe cock on the NHS
