I think it would be a good idea to be able to block people from viewing your profile if they don't fit your age criteria. Our who's looked at you box is overflowing with kids. Any thoughts?

It wouldn't make any difference to me as I don't really look at who's looked at me. I figure if they liked what they saw, they'd make contact of some kind.

Since when did it harm anyone to look?

If as you say, your who’s looked is full of kids, then report them to admin as members have to be over 18. If you mean that they are younger than you are looking for, then so be it. They looked at your profile and decided that you are not for them/not what you’re looking for

I can see how this would be good for some.

However I don’t think there’s much harm in looking really.

If those who you aren’t interested in, looking at your profile bothers you and is making your experience on here negative. Maybe it’s best to hide your profile and seek people out yourself & see how that works?

But they’re just looking...

I’m sure plenty of 20 year olds have looked at you in the street too. It’s harmless, if they cannot message you, I don’t see the issue?

I only block after they view my profile and still contact me knowing they don't tick my boxes or send floppy organs to my inbox.

It would not be high on my priorities list for fab to spend money in. It generally doesn't bother me but I've been here so long that it seems standard for people to look and explore. I frequently click on a forum thread username, instead of reply to it, so not all viewers are purposeful in the way you expect.

I think the bigger need for many is to apply the message filters

yes op I agree I believe better filters would work or if you're looking for ladies 40 50 that's all that should be able to view excellent idea

I see the site as a social place where people can interact. Like hanging out in a pub, yeah you might not speak to everyone there but looking does no harm.

We've had pics stolen and sent to vanilla friends so yes.

at the time we had single men blocked so if they wasn't able to see our pics and profile it would have saved alot of upset I think

If the facility was there then it's up to each person/couple to do as they please. As can be seen from profiles not everyone is into the same kink. So it follows that if we don't want to be viewed by a certain section that's our choice same as others wishing to be viewed is their choice.

You are aware that on a phone, if you hold your finger on the profile pic and press 'view image', it enlarges the thumbnail ?

Anyone who is registered with the site can do that unless they are blocked

They don't need to be verified, photo verified or even pay a membership - as long as they are registered, they can view your profile pic quite clearly, even if the photo isn't in your public gallery

Seeing as a lot of people view in stealth mode, you probably don’t realise how many people have viewed you, especially if it’s more than a hundred as unless you check pretty regularly you wouldn’t know. As someone else said if you’re that bothered about who views you either hide your profile and do the searching yourself or put photos on there that you’re not bothered about who views you. Even if you’ve got message filters set up, you’re still going to get messages from people you’re not interested in, just delete and move on.

I have had all sorts view my profile and fab my profile. It is when I het messages and winks I would rather them fit my criteria. No harm is done just by being viewed though
