I'm far too diplomatic to hurt someone's feelings intentionally or otherwise in the real world or the online one for that matter.

Lot of people including ex bosses told me I was abrupt. I just say things as they are. Many people don't like to hear the truth. But that's not my problem.

Behind your keyboard you're anonymous and safe and can say your bit then delete, block or whatever without being challenged.

In the street I think lots of people would not behave the same

For some maybe - but I stand by what I said up there - I wouldn't say anything here I wouldn't be prepared to say to someone's face personally

I am same here as in person, with the added advantage of tone, pauses and body language.

I would never deliberately offend anyone online or off. I'm very opinionated and not afraid to call out bad behaviour. This gets me into trouble from to time but I probably hold back more on line than in do in everyday life.

Oh, and I don't see it as bravery to say what I am thinking. I also don't see it as brave to antagonistic for the sake of it.

Central

I'm generally responsible and sympathetic to other peoples feelings etc and that's online and in person. I can see how it may also be different if someone is just amongst an anonymous global internet forum, where people don't know each other socially.

Same. If I see someone being bullied or if someone is being a dick for no apparent reason, I will call them out on it. But I've often found it just brings unwanted trouble, so I tend to keep quiet these days because I really can't be doing with the aggro.

Yes and also I think its easier to misunderstand or misinterpret someone's comments or intenten on the internet. I call out bad attitudes or if I see something distasteful but iv got it wrong a couple times and I will and have apologise when that happens. Decency cost nothing online or off.

The problem with online stuff is . like the other day I made a joke an earthquake 99% of the people thought it was funny. One person didn't saying that why would I joke about something where people could have died. And that I would not make jokes if it had been me etc. Then when I defended myself.

By saying that I had been in an earthquake year's ago. He thought it was funny to make jokes about my family members killing each other etc. And it was them having sex that started the earthquake.

And he could not see how dum and sick he sounded.

I just moved away from the forum chat

If i have something I want to say, I say it, online or in person.

I try not to be negative and never aggressive, but if i disagree with something or some one needs to be told they're being a cock womble, I will pipe up no problem!

Bravery has nothing to do with it..We all have opinions..but diplomacy and discretion is the key..If we all spoke our minds all the time in public there would be street battles and mayhem unless of course you are promoting that...I like to wrap my 'insults ' in humour to make my point.

What you see is what you get with me. I’m no different in person. I am respectful, pleasant and polite. I can get a point across without being rude, personal or nasty. Some are able to be that way online and in person, some are not.

I often feel that folk are almost boastful when they claim ‘I don’t care, I will tell people what I think’.

I've come across some pretty nasty people in real life too who will make a fight and look for trouble over nothing. The difference is it's easier to avoid them in real life than on a forum.

What I say I mean it doesn’t matter what world I live in lol.

But I am not a particularly aggressive or nasty person as I don’t believe in that behaviour so to be offended by myself is almost impossible.
