I did... i just popped a handful of size 4 phillips head screwnails and stainless steel washers in to an envelope and posted them off to the prince of adjimalookilooki claiming that they were bit coins....

haven't heard jack shit since

no they explain how they hack into your router. thing is they name the router but i dont use the named router. what is alarming is that they knew part of an old password i used

Really common scam at the moment - everyone at my workplace has had the same one. “Good taste in porn, now give me crypto currency or your O-face goes to your in-laws” or something like that!!

Your email address has been compromised on a website and the relevant details have been used to fill in the email. They don’t have access to your porn history or photos or anything else. It’s like the Windows support people who phone up to say you’ve been hacked.

I had one recently saying I had 12,500 pounds in bitcoin in my account and I just needed to confirm my email address before that would transfer the money. Brilliant!

These people assume we are all terrified of anyone finding our internet history. Mine is pure and full of kittens. No worries there. If you got a jolt of panic in your stomach does that mean you are more of a pervert than you like to admit (not just you particulary)

Not sure as it was my Apple ID password and my Hotmail password (silly I know!) but it wasn’t an easy one to guess!

I've had a few and nothing has ever come of them. They did quote a password, but it was one I only ever use for non secure sites....point proven really!
