So ive been reading about Water fasts/detox, basically consuming nothing but water for 3 days is meant to be a supercleanse for the body and help focus on other areas of wear and tear other than the digestive system

Thinking to give it ago but with fruit aswell to start with, anybody tries anything like this before?

Your body already detoxes itself exactly to the right amount using its liver and kidneys - water/fruit fasts are not necessary.

If only we had several organs that detoxify and balance the body

If you eat an absolutley perfectly balanced diet...then yes youre spot on, but unfortunately that is not the case lol

When drinking the right amount of water and having a perfect yes, but that is not the case for most people

I used to do intermittent fasting and it worked for me. Remember your sleep also counts towards your fasting.

A water/fruit fast may also have serious health concerns such as hyponatremia etc.

Moderation is key in all things

Why not just eat two small meals a day? Make sure that they contain your micronutrients and macronutrients. The body will sort itself out.

You should be staying hydrated, regardless of fad diets advice. As others have stated: the liver and kidneys detox your body, hydration flushes your system and keeps the organs doing their intended jobs.
