"Who’s watched it yet?" Does that sentence even make sense? Who’s watched it already would make more sense, right? (I’m sleepy)

"I thought they threw everything they had at it. And I was really happy at the way the night king met his demise... but ultimately thought the motivations of the army of the dead and the connection to Bran were left very vague to the point that it was almost anti-climactic. I still stand by my view that the earlier seasons are the best. We had some brilliant moments but we knew who were and weren't for the chop this week before the episode even aired. The shocks are what make GOT. I'm still waiting for that moment this year. " I thought more people were going to die to be honest! I’m glad they didn’t, but also shocked

"Was absolutely awesome and personally am glad they didn't go with a Jon Snow vs The Night King boss fight - was surprised more didn't get killed, but think taking out too many main characters would have meant having too many death scenes to fit in one episode. Was sad about Ed though, and hoping Ghost reappears - Ser Jora and Theon I think were inevitable but they both died with honour and having saved face - Beric had just run out of lives - when the giant got the Mormont girl I thought it was Arya at first - but there are two bad ass teens I'd not want to cross!! So now it's all about getting Cersei "

" But my biggest gripe with this episode was after a 7 season build up to winter is coming and the night king and jon spending most of tbose seasons fighting the dead and building up to a jon and nightking showdown. He ends up sidelined for most of the episode and didnt really accomplish anything and then mary sue ninja teleporting out of the sky ayra was the one to see off the night king. Was doctor strange on hand setting up portals for her to drop out of the sky or somthing. And you just know next episode somehow they will still have thousands of unnamed soldiers ready for the battle with cersie. Im calling it now lol" I personally loved that it didn't come down to a Jon Snow vs The Night King boss fight - that would have been the easy option - instead they built up the tension of showing Jon Snow racing to try and get there whilst at the same time seeing Bran about to get it and wondering if Jon would get there, only for Arya to drop out of (I suspect) the tree and do her thing

Com on it was pretty dumb and requires a lot of suspension of belief. Thats it the whole build up to winter is coming for 7 season's for it to end like that, so dissapointing.

" I'd have to watch the Arya scene again to be sure - but I personally loved it. And whilst winter is coming has been part of it, the programme is about so much more than that, and I would argue is more about the Iron Throne and who ultimately takes it, which we will see play out in the next three episodes as the episode 4 trailer illustrates

"I listened to it all at 6am this morning but Ill have to actually watch it tonight when I can get the room dark enough to be able to see something on the screen Had thought that the body count would have been higher and that at least one of the main characters would have snuffed it though. Thought Bran would have pulled his finger out and done a bit more, but quite like that it was Arya the ninja " Jorah is arguably a main character and actually think the grief his death bought out in Dany was more acutely felt than if it had been the other way round.

As there surely can't be anymore than a couple hundred (if that) survivors after the decimation of winterfell but next week they will somehow still have a army of thousands. There was scenes through out this episode where "insert beloved main character here" is fighting the dead only to see another 50 rush towards them, screen goes black and off to another scene, 15 mins later "insert beloved main character here" is still fighting with dead walkers all around them. Who needs an entire dothraki army when you got bryan, podrick and jaime haha

"As a stand alone episode it was fucking epic if a bit dark... I cant be the only one to hung a blanket over the blinds right?..... As a part of the story I think season 7 + 8 have suffered from less episodes. I think a flashback episode fully exploring the whitewalkers would have been a benifit before the big battle..... Also for the greatwar 2 major battles if we count evactuation hardhome as one is a bit quick. I mean its nit picking at an exceptional series I'll still be glued to it next week.... " Your right it was very dark im reading lot of comments on other forums saying they couldnt make out what was going on. I had to turn brightness up to over 90 on my tv.

Based on a real life situation - this was no different Just for Michael Caine and Stanley Baker substitute Brienne and Jamie

"I personally thought it was a total cop out. The way most of the main characters survived depite being pushed bsck into corners or aginst walls and being over run by dead 1000s to 1. You would see a shot of literally thousands upon thousands of dead charging in to castle then inside the castle you would see one or two running up to bryan or jamiee and getting seen to. Also the whole episode was super dark, i had to close curtaind and turn bightness right up just to see what was going on. But my biggest gripe with this episode was after a 7 season build up to winter is coming and the night king and jon spending most of tbose seasons fighting the dead and building up to a jon and nightking showdown.
