Both types require an 'othering' of a group of people and a sense of superiority and disdain.

I know I'm a snob about quite a few things. I do my best not to let it have a negative effect on anyone else by keeping my snobbery to myself as much as possible.

Yes, I’m a total music snob. I only like bands no ones heard of, once they sell more than 4 records I move on to the next big thing.
