"I'm more of a Transmetropolitan kind of guy. Dystopian/alt graphix novels... Although 2000AD was decent for a comic." I like 2000AD much more than Batman ![]()

"I quite enjoy the darkness of it, I loved Nolans take on it and thought that Bale was by far the best on screen Bat/Bruce, although I enjoyed Afleck as Bruce, he carried the 'billionaire' aspect and easy intelligence well. I didn't like his Batman though. " Can't stand Ben Aflecks version of either. Probably agree about Bale being best Bat, though his voice is ridiculous as bat. I think I like Keaton best for Bruce. Best Joker?

"I’m Marvel all day, but, I have to admit, watching the old Batman now I’m grown up I find it absolutely hilarious D." I like things like 2000AD, Dark Horse Comics, Neil Gaiman and other smaller comic houses. V for Vendetta, Sandman. Always have. Though I tend to prefer Marvel over DC, I prefer the fact it's set in the real world and has a cast of billions with intersecting stories. The possibilities are infantesimal.

Probably the two most iconic heroes of all time.

What a word! Hehe I’ve not read any of the DC comics for years but to be fair neither have I read any Marvel ones since the MCU started, I didn’t want to find any potential spoilers ![]()

I do prefer the real world setting myself, the X-men were my first comic love and still are.

Some bit are close.. most of it is vastly different. Nobody knows how it'll end because it's never really been finished properly.

Though I've yet to see a Hannibal Lector-esque intelligence and charm shown in any on screen Joker or the American Pshyco-like coldness he must have to do the things he does.

Nicholsons was great at the time but Ledger just felt 'dangerous' Agreed ![]() I'd be happy if they did The Dark Knight Returns / Batman Beyond with the cast from the Burton films. If they couldn't get Jack Nicholson back, I actually think Mark Hamill should play the Joker if they put him in make-up and only really show him in shadow. I just really want a live action Batman Beyond film and I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.
