We've gone back in time. How do you see yourself? Where would you live? The dying embers of the Roman Empire in Byzantium? The Western Dark Ages? A Nordic Raider? Norman Knight? Saxon Squire?

Would your approach on Fab change? How'd you adapt your profile?

I think we'd have to change the name of the Lounge.. The Hall? The Feast? The Moot?

Were they? I thought they just forced themselves like everyone else did at the time and before. As far as I'm aware there aren't any records of that. Just a scene in "Vikings" That gives off the wrong impression. Maybe some confused pagan rituals getting mixed into Norse mythology. I may be wrong though.

True.. You've just had the Iceni bits bred out lol. Do you feel more akin to Iceni? Normans? Saxons? Celts? Because everyone alive today is connected through tribal assimilation of the past. Don't we all share in that culture? Whether it's Mongolian? Greek? Masai? Inuit? Maori?

I play with Mongol bit on here, but I've no real favourite. Like nearly everywhere Northern European.. I'm part Mediterranean (roman Greek iberian) part Norse/Germanic. Part whatever journey my collection of surviving lines my life is made up of.

I think the Persians had changed by that period. More a combination of the Abbyssid Caliphate and various Shahs and Rulers of smaller Islamic Sheikdoms.

I like your style though, although Ancient, the Persians were a very long lasting and tolerant Empire compared to their more barbaric peers and predecessors.

I've had a go at melee sparring. It's shocking how easy it is to make a fatal mistake against a skilled opponent. Makes the style of fighting I'm accustomed to much more palatable and humane (small arms modern warfare).

I'd opt for mounted archers everytime. Who wants to risk getting your arms lobbed off or an axe in the shoulderblades? Fuuuuuck that shiyyyyt.
