People who can't queue.

I was with some friends walking past a bus stop, people were queuing nicely to get on. Then one guy just barged past everyone and pushed his way into the bus.

Do you think it's ok for people not to queue? Bus stops are one example, how about elsewhere, such as checkouts?

Mostly eastern Europeans for me at lidl..there is a clear line of people and they just walk past everyone to go to the self check-out. The funny thing hardly anyone complains they just stand there.

Some older folk can get a bit bolshy, especially if the queue isn't moving as quick as they’d like!

Although in recent weeks i’ve had two occassions of folk letting me go before them as i had fewer items.

I catch buses and people don't queue anymore. It's the people nearest wherever the bus has stopped who get on first. I saw a carer with a mentally disabled man trying to get on a bus but everyone was pushing past them. I put one foot on the bus and waved them on in front of me. The people behind me didn't like it much though

Unfortunately due to the brexit process and silly impatient halfwitted cunts queuing is no longer an accepted form of intent to do anything and as such it’s all for one and one for all.

By the way. Greggs are giving away free yum yums today.

There and to the left a bit

There are few things that grind my gears more than people queue jumping no matter where it is.

Mind you our local Tesco Express confuses the heck out of my queue sense as it has two manned tills and two self-service ones and the layout is such that you never know whether there should be one queue or two

I don't get your logic here. Are you saying that pro remain voters are taking a more European approach to queuing? Or that pro leave supporters are taking an "if you can't beat them join them" attitude?

I don't like it when people push in to the head of a queue, but I tend not to say anything. Mart on the other hand will let them know politely (at first) that they should join the back of the queue.

Its a learned trait. Some countries have never formed orderly lines for anything.

China famously had to do mass lessons to teach people how to queue when the olympics were going to be held there as its not part of their culture.

Japan is probably the most orderly in this area, followed by UK/Ireland.

It can be unlearned too. I have noticed a huge drop in road manners over my life and although 90% still queue I have noticed its not as universal as it once was.

When I was younger people would stop in their cars to let you out, they wouldnt mind a 30 second delay as you did a u-turn, and they wouldnt mind joining the end of a huge queue.

It only takes a small number of people to mess it all up. If every day 3 people skip the queue and get away with it, the people who queue every day their whole lives think "fuck it" and start to skip out too.

When I was a kid and a pregnant woman stood up at a bus stop, everyone would without talking to each other, step out of her way so she could get on first etc.

It’s actually the left group of pro whatever everyone else doesn’t want to do fault. Sorry I was a bit confusing in my first post

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I tut and eye roll, if I'm feeling patient.

I blocked people getting on a bus a couple of weeks ago so that the person at the stop first could get on. The bus driver decided to stop somewhere in the middle of the milling throng.

I hate it when people push past, it's rude. Especially when cars overtake everyone queuing in the correct lane then they try and nudge back in. Sod that.

The Land that time forgot (Norfolk)

Russian guy did that at the airport the other day, there was a queue of passengers (Russians too) waiting to check in. He was arguing with a little Thai airport lady that as he didn't have luggage he wanted to jump to the front. She was telling him no no no and directing him to the back of the queue. He literally dodged her then ran across the airport hurdling the barriers to push in at the front of the check in queue.

It was pretty funny to watch as the 4 foot something Thai lady wrestled with the 6'4" Russian guy

Annoys the fuck out of me when queuing for a bus. You can patiently wait with everyone else and as soon as the bus arrives the non queuers go straight to the front. They don't even do it subtly and are totally oblivious.

It's my biggest bugbear. So rude, if people have been queuing. I'm not normally confrontational, but this irritates me so much, that I always end up saying something, so they get their arse to the back of the line.

A young man pushed in front of me while I was queueing. The look of arrogance on his face was wiped off when I firmly said "Do you want to queue behind me?" He did.

This is an interesting one cos I ALWAYS blame the shop.

I had all my stuff on a belt once and some bloke shoved a birthday cake at the woman and said i've only got this and she takes his money instead of saying you'll have to wait. It was too late for me to say it cos she took his dosh and he left. I was FUCKING FUUUUUUUUUUMING!

Sometimes bus stops have no shelters and when it's raining you could be first there but standing away from the stop yet you will get some schmucks standing right on the edge of the road thinking they are first, at times I'll hold back and wait other times I'll shuffle in depends how I feel but will always let pensioners through

It would never work, but those who suffer with mobility issues and are therefore suffering pain from just standing in a queue. There should be some way that they can just go to the front.

This is how it is in Bulgaria to get on the bus, people push to get on sometimes before passengers get off although this is rare it does happen.
