So I’ve finially been told by the old witch doctor that I’ve got this condition on my hands. It’s a cunt, for someone who’s never had anything of great value wrong with me this just flairs up on my fingers and I feel like just cutting them off at times when it’s bad.

I was just wondering if anyone else here has this condition and what works best to relieve it as it doesn’t go away just recurs for no ducking reason whatsoever

I have it. Unfortunately I've never learned what the trigger is. Moisturising with Child's Farm nappy cream last thing at night and wearing cotton gloves in bed really soothes it.

I’ve tried it all too. I was prescribed antibacterial tape to tape my fingers up but I looked like a mummy and the tape just stripped my fingers of the outer layer of skin not a good look. I now use an antibacterial cream which does dry the blisters up but doesn’t relieve the itching which is a swine Thanks for the heads up on the nappy cream

My 9 year old. I plaster his hands in moisturiser cream and put cotton gloves on.

He gets it on a few fingers rather than whole hand and it gets really bad so quickly.

I do only get it on my fingers and the same ones every time I thought at first it was a reaction to my rings so I changed fingers but it made no difference. I get relief from salt Water as in the sea but it’s short lived,

I also have this condition that flares up for no reason when it wants, I use the antibiotic cream the doctor prescribed, al have also started using child’s farm but my mum recommended argan oil body butter - doing this before bed and sleeping in cotton gloves does seem to help x

I've had this since I hit puberty. It used to affect me everywhere from the neck down as a teenager and at one point I was admitted to hospital for a week for treatment. As a youngster I was prescribed pretty much every steroid cream available and lots of moisturising creams and nothing helped.

It cleared up by itself in my early 20's and I had nothing for about 10 years.

When it came back it was only on my hands and feet. I don't bother going to see my doctor about it because from my previous experience nothing they could prescribe helped. I just live with it because this time around it's not too severe. I use a hand cream from Lush called helping hands to help with the peeling and cracking.

The worst area for me is my feet. The blisters are very painful and sometimes wearing shoes is awful. I often use a sterilised needle to pop the blisters on my feet to release the pressure.

I used to have this when I worked in a bar. The detergent from washing glasses reacted with my skin and I'd end up looking like i put my hands through a threshing machine.

I get it on my hands occasionally. The Doctor prescribed chlobetasol propionate. Usually one coating clears it up for quite a long time now.

A friend of mine has a similar condition on her hands and she has been using a german made cream which has silver particles in it and it gives her a lot of relief and avoids the long term issues of antibiotics or steroids.

O my god. You have had a bad issue with them. I’m glad you have cleared most of it up but I would imagine it being on your feet being absolutely terrible. Puts my little finger issues into insignificance really.

Fab never ceases to amaze me. I’ve not met one person in real life with this problem and within the space of a few hours I’m learning more from people who have experienced the same problem. Thank you all for contributing
