Cyclists.!!!

Drivin home from a nice day out in the park. Cyclist comes out of an alleyway while on his fone and jumps stright out in the road. I swerved jammed my breaks on and ended up about an inch from havin him wedged under my car. The twat then starts blaming me for not watchin wherr i was going.!! Now if cyclists have the "same rights" as drivers then shudnt they also get done for using their mobiles whilst cycling.?

Pissed me off big style after havin such a good day for a change.

I hate most cyclists. I have to dodge multiple ones every day in London.

Red lights. No entry signs. Wrong way down 1 way street.

Very few of them care.

Totally agree. As a cyclist. but think law applies to powered vehicles. Everyone using a road should consentrate. Pet annoyance... People with earphones who are deaf to their surroundings.

Let's face it. Every poster on this forum could post about cyclists being ducks. And we could all post the same about motorists too. Some people are dicks. But when motorit's start taking the moral high ground let's not forget how many people are killed amd injured every year by motorists, a sense of perspective really is needed on threads like this

People on phones no matter what form of transport can be oblivious to everyone else around them, I can’t tell you how many times I have nearly run young people over that have just walked out into the road with a phone stuck to their faces

There are those who ride bikes and there are cyclists, subtle difference. Car drivers also occasionally jump lights, exceed speed limits, don't focus on where they are going. Many drivers exhibit the same faults as many who ride bikes. The difference is that when a driver screws up people end up dead or with life changing injuries.

Not everyone who rides a bike is a cyclist... many are just people with a bike. Often the first thing someone will do when they've been banned from driving is buy (or "borrow") a bike.

Same here.

But the majority of them give the rest of us a bad name. Seen some right cocky knobhead swerving about simply so a car can't pass them etc. Some don't care but not all of us

There are just as many bad drivers who use mobiles while driving especially white van man. Big difference is if driver hits people causes lot more damage than a cyclist would.

Across 175 miles of driving today. I've encountered 1 knobhead cyclist, compared to 10 knobhead truckers, and about 50 wank holiday drivers.

Perspective n all that...
