Have you noticed how many guys ask for advice on their profile and don’t do anything about it. Twice in the past couple of weeks i’ve posted as well as many others and yet the profiles stand unchanged.

So why ask for advice if you have no intentions of acting on it?

Some don’t really want advice, they want a wee moan and for us lovely folk to tell them it’s not their fault, folk on fab are rude as fuck

Exactly this.

I remember a guy about a year ago posted 4 threads in the space of a few days asking exactly the same thing. He was treated very kindly, given lots of good advice but all he did was give excuses as to why he couldn't take it.

Ultimately all some people want to do is moan and get attention for it.

Oh they 100% don’t need to take our advice whatsoever. It’s when they make the same forum post a few weeks later that bugs me

I have to say it does annoy me when people put " fill in later" but never actually write anything.

A guy I have spoken to a few times since I joined the site has that as his write up. He's been on here nearly a year so he's no intention of changing it.

I would say he's classed as more attractive than average si he's relying on his looks to get by.

It's out me off. They might as Well just leave it blank than lie.

People's motives for posting aren't always clear.

The threads started by women claiming low body confidence from a profile with many photos that imply the opposite for instance.

Too often, this happens......

We receive a message from a profile with little or no info on, no pictures or only cock pics.

We'll politely reply, they then play the pity card, it's so difficult for men, etc etc.

So we'll respond, ask them. What attracted them to our profile, then ask what they have on theirs to attract us back.

We'll suggest they take a look at our verifications and see what appealed to us.

Explain they could treat their profile as a CV and their initial message almost as a cover note.

Often they'll thank us for our help, then over the next few weeks we'll receive the same message from the same unaltered profile.

It's kind of helpful though, it helps to separate those that understand this lifestyle and the chancers.
