I've only ever d*unk red wine, but as I press on in age, I struggle to drink it in hot weather and survive, despite pre and post hydration.

Any suggestions on a drink that isn't sweet/too sweet, that's alcoholic and tasty.

Not a fan of beer, other wines, cider, gin or vodka.

Buy cocktail sachets from M&S, pop them in the freezer and serve. Sasha loves the strawberry daiquiri ones.

In what proportion?

Sounds like a great way to get my 5-a-day up.

Hollow a pineapple, squeeze the juice back in. Add mango juice, orange juice, and sliced strawberries. Top up with your favourite rum. Put a straw in and enjoy.

3/4 wine topped with juice, some of my friends do half an half some less lol also works with apple and mango, found just mango can leave a funny taste

This sounds nice. Seems as rum is the one! Thanks.

Thanks for the ideas all.

I'm not a fan of fizz so champs, cavas, prosecco, fizzy soft drinks are no but will try some of these next time I'm out.

If I'd found the place to sit in the sun and drink the perfect Long Island I wouldn't need my legs because I would not be going anywhere.
