What makes a good forum post? Which ones are you most likely to engage with?

.

Good and the ones I am likely to engage with aren't often the same thing ha.

So a good forum post is one that makes me think. Question something. Do some inner reflection.

I'm likely to engage if it's a question I find interesting, there are posters I find interesting in the thread or the Op is a friend/someone with a similar sense of humour. Once I am tipsy it's generally just a free for all with no set rules.

There and to the left a bit

Post or thread?

Either way it will vary dependent on the subject - as some are just light hearted and don't call for a great deal of thought - personally I prefer threads on subjects that make you think and exercise the grey matter a little where intelligent debate/comment comes to the fore rather than inanity. Tea Monkey is a good example of someone whose threads usually provoke the kind of thing I enjoy getting involved with.

Mostly I like the silly ones, nothing too heavy or serious. I like things with a sense of fun about them, ones that get people chatting and involved.

If it’s something important to me then I may comment on the more thought provoking threads.

Light and fun is a good thread to me OP

This for me too. Or if something is said that gets my gaot I will have my two pennies worth.

I dont want to overly have to think it hurts my head but thought provoking, hearing views I hadn't thought of is always a good thing.

I agree. I read far more than I comment. It’s interesting, sometimes makes me laugh and sometimes makes me tut

I do own the fact that I can be caring, empathic, gentle right through to impish, belligerent, patronising, pissed off and challenging though. I’m aware and I will be accountable for upsetting and always comfortable to apologise or explain intent. I’m me, and I have things I want to say!

You cannot be fairer than that. I like a person that owns their shit x

I can't be arsed with the serious stuff, there's too much of that in real life. So I tend to just waffle nonsense, attempt (usually fail) to be amusing, and flash my vag' on request.

Try to look out for the original posts, unusual topics or something im generally interested in, never bother with the daily repeat threads.

I like the quiz threads, musuc and film threads,I won't enter any thread with 'above' in the title, or kiss snog blah blah, but sometime I will stay in a thread that I haven't even posted in if its a 'healthy debate'
