"Yes I know most of you love it. I heard " isn't it lovely " so many times today NO IT ISN'T! Who else isn't a fan of sweating for no good reason and gets hay fever and things biting them and rashes - I don't burn but I hate that hot feeling on my skin. I'll stop now - but there must be others out there in the shade!?" FIFY

"I also have hay fever but I take tablets and they sort me out. I love the warm weather wearing t-shirt and shorts blasting along country lanes on my bike with the sun on my back. It doesn't get much better than that " If you don't have the summer you're not allowed in the thread! OUT

"What's your favourite season? " I like it around 15 when it's warm enough not to shiver but cool enough to get things done without sweating. The sun is shinning but it's not hot -just crisp and lovely.

"As i only work nights i do love the lighter evenings now.... down side is trying to get to sleep when I'm hot and sticky(and not in the fun way) I do enjoy the warmth on my skin sitting in the garden with a glass of wine.... but too hot is stupid.... unless I'm on holiday. " Being hot in bed ( alone ) sucks! I can't sleep and am even grumpier than usual

"I get hornier in the summer but the boob sweat, the hayfever.... I'd love to just float around in silk and not do very much but unfortunately life has to carry on. Also, I'm dire at summer dressing. So bad at it. " Yes wtf to wear? When I was in my 20s and a lot thinner and hotter it was easier to dress for hot weather - now I just look like a giant sweaty frizzy shiny puffy tent in all of it

So bad at it. " Yes the hornyness factor does go up in the summer.... and as for summer dressing.... I'm sure you have a few things to show off your curves. I have to wear flame resistant clothing all year round.... hot hot hot.

"My least favourite season.. feel like a sweaty slug most of the time. Don't sleep, am permanently crabby and have no idea how to dress.. the thought of another hot person close to me sends shivers down my spine.. " Yes it's disgusting- no body contact unless we're in Aircon please

"I’ve been waiting for you and you haven’t let me down OP! I don’t like summer, I don’t like the heat, it makes me feel ill and then there’s hayfever to contend with. Nope, give me Autumn any day " I'll meet you at the airport - we need to go North before the actual summer comes! I can't bear it

"Another summer hater here, I suffer..... Chronic hayfever. Insomnia owing to my bedroom being hotter than the sun. I always feel grimy thanks to sweating. Constant headaches thanks to having to squint in bright light. Panda eye tan lines because I have to ear sunglasses all times I'm outdoors. And to cap it all off, our ice cream man has a van with the worst jingle sounds ever. " It's just disgusting Meet me and Babe at the airport - were going north

Who else isn't a fan of sweating for no good reason and gets hay fever and things biting them and rashes - I don't burn but I hate that hot feeling on my skin. "I can’t be doing with high humidity - it makes me most miserable indeed; Sweating, itching and with no respite (bar for laying in a cold bath!) " A cold bath is awesome in disgusting heat. I used to live in India -which used to approach 60 in summer time. I was often without Aircon so a cold bath was the only way I could function

"Unless I’m chilling on the beach with a cool breeze anything about 20c is hell ! Sweaty body frizzy hair headaches and clothes sticking to you- yuk!" Exactly - I don't mind it if I have nothing to do but drink cool drinks and go swimming I spend most days running around like a maniac - I cycle commute which means I'm a sweaty mess before I even start work then I spend 8hrs running around with the central heating on ( don't ask Lol) Then I cycle home and try and sleep in the bedroom from hell which is always hot even in winter

"I dislike the sun and heat. I burn like an albino baby. I would happily live in a dense forest with a nice temperature around 15 degrees c. Added bonus of being far away from loud drug taking larger drinking antisocial neighbours." That sounds amazing! I'll pack now

"I’ve been waiting for you and you haven’t let me down OP! I don’t like summer, I don’t like the heat, it makes me feel ill and then there’s hayfever to contend with. Nope, give me Autumn any day " Autumn is awesome. So many beautiful colours on trees. Summer I hate heat. I wear shorts all year round anyway so people can guess extra heat is bad for me. Public transport is summer is awful as well. London also fills up with tourists and as I am near St Paul's it gets awful. Only compensation is summer wardrobe

"The way the weather is currently is perfect for me. Lovely warm days and cool evenings. The only downside is that I was bitten twice last night whilst sitting out in the garden. Mozzies love my blood it seems." I must admit, I rarely get bitten, and I can't remember ever being stung by a wasp or bee (famous last words).
