Any keen fishermen or women around the forum? Ive just taken it up again after years and am absolutely hooked! Excuse the pun. I don't even have to catch anything just being outside in nature, sitting still and watching the world go by, I can just switch off and maybe have a nap, very therapeutic I think, good for the soul, and if you catch something all the better. Anyone share this hobby?

I dip in and out, go through phases a bit like fab, it's not very sexy though, I don't you'll get a shag out of it or that any dudes or ladies will own up....

Own up to fishing? I didn't know it was something to be ashamed of! Haha. Not sexy!? Just Google carponizer calender and then talk to me! In all fairness am not trying to get a shag out of it just general chat.

I’ll occasionally go to the beach in the summer with my sons fishing rod, it’s peaceful and relaxing

I went once and am still traumatised by the wee donk on the head with the meat hammer the fishes got.

I liked the sitting by the water relaxing part though.

Exactly the same mate, that's what got me started again.

Definitely, learned beach casting at a young age...my son in law has his own boat so they regularly go out fishing with my grandson...my daughter is a keen fisher who can fly fish as well as sea fish.....living by the sea I think is a blessing

Haha wee donk! Did you eat the fish though? Nothing better than catching you own tea I think, very hunter gatherer.

No I don't like fish. The gutting and scaling part was pretty gruesome though.
