Dear old Harry, I loath football, but have to love the man.

I guess he spent the money on Vodafone shares.

It's ok the rest of us can pay a little extra, I don't mind supporting multi millionaires in these times of austerity it must be hard for them

Nr Chester

I feel for the Spurs fans. Harry for England.

Whether he is truly innocent only he and Mandaric knows but a jury has found them not guilty.

Considering the Inland Revenue have not been bothered to chase the likes of Goldman Sachs and Vodafone for vastly more tax than Redknapp's case, I am quite pleased the jury stuck it to them.

A classic case of someone in either the CPS or HMRC wanting to make a name for themself with a high-profile scalp.

Agree and it was a waste of £8 million.

Sheffield

5 years, 8 million quid and the main prosecution argument was an interview with the news of the world, all for an alleged 30grand in unpaid tax, from 2 guys that have paid over 100 million in vat over the years. Guilty? my arse

coys.
