You can't.

It's attached to the continent.

In 8000BC, you could walk from East Anglia to the Netherlands.

Then a tsunami inundated the poor people living in places like Doggerbank.

We are getting closer to America though.

At a rate of about 2cm a year.

That's warp speed in geological timescales.

I’m sure with all the brainy people you could figure out how to disconnect it from Europe and have it towed out into the middle of the Atlantic. That would stop all the emigration as outlined in the Brexit deals set out by the various party’s and you would then become an official island and live off the sea and eat coconuts
