I'm currently having my morning coffee with a chocolate digestive (or two).

What is your biscuit of choice with your morning brew?

WARNING...and talk of biscuit dunkage will result in a stern telling-off. This is not the place for such discussion..

We just had coffee with Marks and Spencer chocolate and salted caramel hot cross buns. Delicious! I know they aren't biscuits

Any biscuit with tea or coffee needs to be chocolate in my opinion

Some call them mutant some call them the pinnacle of baked goods enshrined in hot cross bun form.

There and to the left a bit

You can't dismiss the dunkage factor when contemplating biscuits and a hot beverage!!! Dunkability is part of the selection criteria!!

The soak factor needs to be carefully considered and weighed up - too much soak and you risk biscuit drop into the liquid (step forward Rich Tea and those pink wafery ones), not enough soak and dunking is rendered pointless (Custard Creams, Bourbon and Garibaldi take a bow).

The perfect biscuit for tea is therefore a Digestive (chocolate optional), Hob Nobs (ditto), or Shortbread (fruity bits optional) - they all have just the right dunkability level

OMGoodness I’m so relieved I’m surrounded by fellow biscuit addicts.

Any biscuit truly makes me smile... but one that contains chocolate, whether smothered with it or has chunks of it through, will make me smiles inside...

Must go find biscuits!

If I’m working I don’t have a biscuit with my morning brew, I have nuts.

If I’m at home (weekends or holidays) my biscuit of choice is either a dark choc kitkat (plain or mint) or a Tesco Finest dark choc and ginger cookie.

P.s. I never dunk!

I've tried them and I'm heart broken to report I didn't like them. I'm gutted as banoffee is my favorite desert so thought these would be my new love, but sadly not.

Oh

You can always tell a lady of better class who enjoys dark chocolate... lmao x

I am slowly trying to climb the social ladder and am starting to enjoy 85% chocolate as a real treat.

However- I just can’t see myself enjoying a dark choccie biccie
