Just be signed up to new work pension. I pay in 5% and they put in 3%. Is that a good deal? Not sure?

Thanks

Hailsham

Better than no pension at all.

Does sound like they are paying in the absolute minimum, some employers offer better, but it's who you work for so what can you do. It's 3% more of your salary that you're getting from your company than you would have done

It's s reasonable start but the bare minimum. I have a work pension and pay 9% but that's matched so companies and services can do better

Is this your only pension or do you have others that date back?

Only asking as looking at your age you might want to up your contributions based on when you want to retire.
