Women who crossdress: A survey.

Riding on the coat- tails of the cross dressing thread.

So, this is for men and couples looking to meet women, you’re chatting to a woman you’re attracted to, but she tells you she cross dresses, likes to wear men’s clothes now and again. Does it;

1. Make you definitely want to meet her.

2. Make you more likely to meet her.

3. Make no difference.

4. Make you less likely to meet her.

5. Mean you definitely won't meet her.

6. I thought all women wear what they like and crossdressed anyway.

If anyone thinks the answers not 6 most of us are fucked. I regularly wear boxers for the comfort level and can be found shopping in the men's isle.

Actually far rarer to actually see a woman in a skirt these days.

Usually seems to be trousers is more usual.

In fact more and more clothing is becoming gender neutral.

Tracksuit or jeans and t shirt

Back in my Rude Girl days I used to wear my Dad's old jackets and ties from the 60s.

As (nearly) everyone said above, number 6.

My grandmother considered jeans men's clothes (even when cut/designed for women), she never ceased to be shocked by them.

I think the fact that she says specifically says she likes to cross-dress, would tend to suggest more intent than just liking the odd rugby top.

6 obviously, but I find it interesting that women wearing mens clothes is accepted as 'normal' but the other way round is niche.

"6 obviously, but I find it interesting that women wearing mens clothes is accepted as 'normal' but the other way round is niche. "

Indeed.

Women'd don't have a hang-up about their ability to wear attire traditionally considered masculine, whereas men appear to have a hang-up about wearing attire traditionally considered feminine.

Which suggests to me there is a culture out there that sees femininity in a man as a weakness rather than a strength.

That would be my immediate assumption too. However, putting a different slant on it, men still desire women in trousers but perhaps women are less likely to find a man in a dress as attractive. Which scenario dictates that femininity in men is perceived as an undesirable quality?

My ex used to love it when I dressed in his white shirt and nothing else. Or stockings, heels and his shirt.

A different ex used to think it ws cute whilst I wore his boxers, a baggy t-shirt with my hair scrunched up in a pile on top of my head. The chill out comfy look.

I guess some guys really don't require a woman to be dressed in stockings and suspender outfits in order to get them off!

It's conditioning. When we all wore animal skins did we decide that the drape to the left was more masculine. Men were the ones that used to wear heels, colours (inc. pink) and flounces. We have just accepted a conditioned response to modern fashion norms.

When just the two of us are having an all-nighter and Abby is dressed in some gorgeous lingerie I will cross dress in trousers, shirt and tie with my already short hair slicked back. My strap on of choice is straining against my trousers waiting for Abby to set it free. I really enjoy the role play but we’ve yet to come across a similar couple. I live in hope!

The other thread clearly says a man who cross dresses for sex . If this is the case with this one too , rather than the ‘ she likes to wear men’s clothes now and then ‘ , we would say 4 as we like to meet women who are feminine .

Biological instincts at work.

I totally get the desire for a masculine man btw

Did you know that heels were invented for men?

The style developed in Egypt and arrived in these islands as a symbol of a man's status.

Wearing high heels was the equivalent of driving a Rolls Royce.

In the 1700s, heels for women started to appear on the market, too, and gradually over time the fashion for men's heels disappeared.

Long, thick eyelashes is a naturally male physical characteristic. Much more common in men than women.

I could say she likes to wear mans clothes all the time, especially for sex, it doesn’t matter, the answer is always 6.

The need for the rich and fashionable dandies to wear high heels gradually decreased in direct proportion to the increase in sanitation levels in the streets!
