Hi

Bit of an odd question for a Sunday but as there are tons of people here from all different backgrounds thought this was a good place to ask!

Basically our website (I created) is hosted by wix and the guy that pays for it is leaving soon and I’m looking at different providers (he set it all up before we started) and was wondering if anyone had any feedback on any? We pay £11 a month currently, we don’t have a business email (which is a pain in my arse as it doesn’t look professional).

Any ideas please? Xx

My work website is through vistaprint and can't fault it plus I have 12 emails with it ... all of which I can name accordingly!

Wix and other WYSIWYG type website providers set their packages up so that your site can't be migrated. If you want to keep the site you have then you're stuck with them I'm afraid.

Really? So it means I have to start again?

Also, £11 a month seems expensive for your service level - especially with no mail boxes. A word of advice, if you do move, you'll need to change your DNS settings. Before you change your IPSTAG (if it's a co.uk domain) make sure you reduce your TTL appropriately otherwise you will have a break in service as propogation time can be an issue.

Yes, if you want to move. Can you code?

All this is a bit foreign to me, my boss is a cheap as chips kind of man and likes to cut corners (hence why you have the dumb ass here!) doing his website, I’ve done the website and it’s all live that’s all I know lol x
