If we have a dream should we always follow it? Should we know our limitations or reach for the stars?

I got my inspiration for this thread from the first act on britians got talent who flew in from japan

Depends on what your dream is.

I'd love to be the kind of person who would say follow your dreams but for the majority of us I just don't think its possible.

It depends what the ream is and if its realistically obtained. Many people dream of winning the lottery but buying hundreds of tickets a week would be a good example of why not to obsessively chance it.

Define 'dream'. I'd quite like to be an elven warrior queen and ride a giant cat into battle. Unfortunately that's probably not feasible so I'll just make the best of what is. There's a lot of beauty to be found in daily life if you know how to look.

Somewhere In The Ether…

Reach for the stars

(And try to forget S Club 7 singing it)

It’s a dream for a reason, If you want it enough you’ll chase it, but most people fall short and broken dreams hurt more than not knowing at all. Be realistic and smart, a comfortable happy life should be enough for anyone

Always try to get there otherwise you will spend the rest of your life regretting not giving it a go.

Could see you in that role even know a good armourer the giant cat though? Unsure whether that could be swung. Elvish is a lovely language to learn though
