Wage rip off

So my sister applied for a job at the local one stop shop. The guy told her she will get 10 hours work on the book. If she works more hours it will be cash in hand and only 5 pounds an hour . Bearing in mind she is 48. Would you report him for not paying the right wage or would you be inclined to take the job???

You should report. 100%. Absolutely.

Not only is he paying below minimum wage which is illegal, your sister is not insured. What if she had an accident at work? What if One Stop was held up by an armed gang? What if a shoplifter turned nasty?

Don't trust anyone who is prepared to ignore people's basic rights.

It's illegal and its illegal for a reason.
