Congratulations!! We all know how easy it is to say "fuck it, pass the cake". But you don't, you stay strong, and you look great for it! So summer's coming, let's see those beach bodies in the making! Oh and yoga pants more than welcome...

That’s what I do. I was more paranoid about my body when I was a lifeguard funnily enough.

The easiest way to have a beach body is to buy a swim suit or bikini. Put it on and go to the beach. Tadaa beach body

Thank fuck for people like you. Imagine being judged purely on your weight and not because of the person you are...

Currently trying to do the ‘slimming’ bit as I’m off on holiday in about 8 weeks!

I’ll still be far from perfect I know - but I’d like to slim down my love handles!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Well done to those people who want to do the work, enjoy it and want to celebrate that they have achieved. If it adds confidence then it's a good thing.

No need to shame people for doing this. No need to shame people for the bodies they have if they choose not to do this. None of us knows the relationship someone has with their body. Someone working out too much, becoming body obsessed, dealing with their insecurities this way is not so different to the person dealing with their issues through the cake appreciation society.

Confidence is way sexier than a six pack. And works in all situations.

As long as someone is totally honest with themselves about their body (and not just hiding any issues/insecurities) then rock what ya got.

So are you saying people shouldn't try and tone up? Do you think people try and get fit or keep slim to mask an insecurity?

I've actually found this - body acceptance - is what's given me the tools to lose weight. I mean I've always known how, but being able to put it into place was another matter. Becoming happier in myself slowed the comfort eating and made me more comfortable in the gym.

Some of us wear our cake in a more obvious way.

Not at all. I'm saying people should be happy in themselves rather than trying to front out the world, and being unhappy.

If getting fit makes you happy that's great, if it's not your thing but you are still happy then great. If you aren't happy, then help is out there.
