I always appreciated the little things personally rather than items or presents

If I knew my other half had had a bad day or what not i'd have a bath , chilled glass of wine or whatever on the table so she could relax once she got in

I'd still spoil her with presents, weekends away etc but in my opinion it's the little things that are best

persoanally, i buy her ids sweets and whatever when i see her.

sometimes get flowers (but not so often that it becomes the norm), get her little things when i see them and think she will like them (boots/underwear/clothes etc) and pay her flights over so she can get away from where she lives.

oh, and we are pretty much on the phone all day every day lol
