"Earnest" A word used to describe my writing style on the Forum by three seperate people now...

Resulting from or showing sincere and intense conviction.

"an earnest student"

synonyms: serious, serious-minded, solemn, grave, sober, humourless, staid, steady, intense; committed, dedicated, assiduous, keen, diligent, zealous, industrious, hard-working; studious, thoughtful, cerebral, deep, profound, bookish, donnish

"he had a reputation for being dreadfully earnest"

devout, heartfelt, wholehearted, sincere, impassioned, deeply felt, from the heart, full-hearted, fervent, fervid, ardent, passionate, intense, burning, urgent.

Who agrees/disagrees and is it bad thing? Good thing? Or irrelevant thing?

I think it just is what it is.

People interpret things in their own way, you may write something and one person reads it as heart felt whilst the next person thinks it's insincere.

The only thing that matters is knowing yourself and your reasons for posting what you do.

On subjects you feel strongly about there’s nothing wrong with being earnest . And it’s obvious to a regular forumite that there are subjects you feel that way about . To your credit you bow out as often as not when politics , war , capitalism come up , although that could also be because you like to continue posting ( )

I personally think it’s a good thing to be earnest about something you believe in .

Exactly this, people ascribe tone and meaning to posts here all the time, often based around their own emotions or their bias towards the poster or subject.

People have their own perceptions, opinions and understanding (or mis-understanding) of the query my friend. On this public forum a lot of people are going to express them also. It's the nature of the beast. But what truly matters is your own opinion of what it means to you. We can proffer our own viewpoints, which we do, but it's where you mind lands thats key buddy

OP just went on Google, copied and pasted then asked what others thought.. Not an invite to be called "Needy" Or "Tedious". Just whether they thought I fitted the description. At no point does the definition include either of those words.

So I now have a new opinion on a user I've never noticed before, and a reinforced one on another I've already had more than one run in with.

I'm trying to play by Fab rules, so I'm not going to respond in the same way. Which is pretty fortunate for both users as I'm almost as good at being literary poisonous and scathing, as I am earnest.

I wouldn't say so. I think you can be devastating when the mood takes you, a bit like myself when I'm not playing by Fab rulebook. The fact you own up to it speaks volumes, but I rarely see it myself. Maybe my own style of Cuntishness makes me a little blind to yours I just see quick wit coming from your direction.

""Earnest" A word used to describe my writing style on the Forum by three seperate people now...

Resulting from or showing sincere and intense conviction.

"an earnest student"

synonyms: serious, serious-minded, solemn, grave, sober, humourless, staid, steady, intense; committed, dedicated, assiduous, keen, diligent, zealous, industrious, hard-working; studious, thoughtful, cerebral, deep, profound, bookish, donnish

"he had a reputation for being dreadfully earnest"

devout, heartfelt, wholehearted, sincere, impassioned, deeply felt, from the heart, full-hearted, fervent, fervid, ardent, passionate, intense, burning, urgent.

Who agrees/disagrees and is it bad thing? Good thing? Or irrelevant thing?"

I apologise for my previous post ... I misread! you were just asking whether you are earnest or not and it’s relevance ....
