LUTON

Not having much luck in meeting anyone, I enjoy sex as much as anyone but it seems if you're over 45 and have a belly you're cast aside and ignored.

While it's easy to blame your age or looks for the lack of meets on here - more often than not it's neither of those things but a skewed idea of what to expect from the site, the wrong approach and attitude, and not having a decent profile and pics - not saying that is the case here as I don't know you and you've not asked for profile advice, but they're all things you should consider, and the good news is they're all within your control.

You've also only been here 3 weeks which is no time at all - especially for a single male profile which is one of literally thousands more than the single female/couples ones - it takes time and patience for most single men, along with not having too high an expectation of anything.

This type of things takes time, I’ve been on here less than two weeks (admittedly I do have a couples account too) and I’ve had zero interest based on my profile info, it takes time and work, I mean my want is a bit of a niche I know but some days I feel like a single bloke on here I have to say but unless you put a decent amount of work in and say the right kinds of things then it will be tough.

The thing is you need to sell yourself to be noticed. You have already pointed out the negatives but what are the positives?

Personality and reliability count for a lot. Get yourself out there, use the resources on the site or attend clubs or socials and get yourself known.

Your profile is your shop window. Is it the best it could be?

You're a single guy on a site over run with them. It's not easy but it's not impossible either.

You have only been on three weeks I think people make the mistake it's just a sex site.

Swinging takes time.

You have a few clubs in your area. Go to one and chat make some friends etc and that's a good start

I haven't met anyone who fits that description. I've met men who have stood out for me and taken time to flirt and woo each other.

Have a look around, you'll see the guys who get the most meets don't necessarily have the "best" bodies but they do have presence.

If you start with a defeatist attitude because you haven't experienced immediate success you are likely to fulfill your own prophecy.

Take the advice that has been given and make your shop window the best it can be, still being true to yourself. Join in on here. Give people a reason to want to respond to you.

I can categorically inform you that 'hung like an elephant' isn't a winner with every woman and neither is slim. Don't get annoyed that some women want just that, no matter how much you may want that woman she's not for you. Move on.

And for the record op I. Nearly 48 ,short and a bit of a belly but that hasn't stopped meeting some very sexy ladies so if I can do it any guy can If they remember what I said above

I'm neither of those things and I have 8 years on you, and I do ok.

The thing is, if you find an approach isn't working for you try another, there are any number of ways to go about Fab - and whilst there are no guarantees, being positive rather than defeatist is the way to go.

If you're truly finding it "disheartening" after just 3 weeks then with the greatest of respect you might want to consider if Fab is the right place for you. I apologise if that sounds harsh, but it's the stark reality - this is not the mythical city where the streets are paved with sex.
