You must be naive to the scale of addicts in Glasgow. I remember drinking as a teen under Victoria bridge, they were using dirty needles then; even though the needle exchange was a 10 min walk away.

Prep is also still experimental and highly expensive.

It's not just addicts though they've missed loads of other reasons why it's increasing too unfortunately.

But yeah it's definitely a sad thing.
