There was a news article last week about Cher, apparently she had lost her favourite T Shirt while touring. She is said to have had this T Shirt for 25 yrs and is devastated.

So what is your favourite peice of clothing and how long have you had it?

Mine is a 1996 Newcastle United shirt, it's my comfort top

Worthing

Leather jacket I used to attend gigs in. About 12 years old. Do not use it anymore as it's seen better days!

A pair of stripey, colourful wedges a friend bought me 18 years ago because she said they shouted out to her to buy them for me as they are 'sunny' and 'bright' just like me x

your imagination

A very old, soft fleece sweater. It's pretty well worn out at this stage and too ragged and shapeless to wear out in public, but I cuddled all of my nieces and nephews in it as babies and they always found it really soothing. The eldest is now 14 lol.

Hefty Hideaway

A double lined heavy silk kimono type dressing gown that was brought back from Thailand by a friend. It’s seen better days thanks to almost 18 years of wear and washes. It’s almost like a comfort blanket.

Gleam Street

My vest with the lyrics to Dance Magic Dance from Labyrinth printed... I love the movie, but was wearing it when I met Robert Englund and he sang the whole song to me.... sad geek fan girl I know, but it was so funny

I don't have any clothing that I'm emotionally attached to. Except for a few things of the sproglets, especially their adorable little shoes.

I’ve got a Versace shirt that’s at least 20 years old. It’s so far out of fashion that it’s almost antique but a special person brought it for me and they’re no longer around so I can’t part with it. It hangs in my wardrobe so I see it every day and it’s a lovely reminder of her.

32 yrs is awesome, you should celebrate the anniversary of when you got it every year

And no doubt you will wear it when they have kids, like a tradition. Love it
