To be fair, you never know what's going on in their personal lives. Perhaps throwing on some jeans really is too much to deal with at that moment in time. I've had debilitating depression in the past and getting out of bed was beyond me some days. Perhaps getting to the shops, albeit in pj's, was an achievement.

I totally disagree with you and agree with the original post. You just don’t know what’s going on in someone’s life or what their mental health is like. It’s just clothing at the end of the day. At least they put something on.

Mine are pretty low so I'd walk to the local shop in pjs if I couldn't be bothered to get dressed.

I did do that once, when I was very ill. My husband was at work and my kids were too young to buy painkillers, so I dragged myself to the chemist 100 metres from my house.

I didn't give a toss who saw me.

Exactly. It’s just clothing. It’s better than some things I see people wearing out. At least pjs are actually covering you up.

Rollers in the hair has been a thing since they invented them I think. Women would roll their hair for an evening out in the morning and take the kids to school and shop in them.

I work in a supermarket and the amount of people you see shopping in pjs or night shirts, dressing gowns and slippers is unreal, some are regulars that do the shopping every week after dropping the kids at school. It is lazy, as people said it's not hard to chuck something over the top to go outside in.
