First episode ever or first episode of the latest series? If the latter maybe unfamiliarity with the characters and the programme have played their part?

For me, it's possibly the best Police procedural drama ever - but that's my opinion, and you're of course entitled to yours, as the old saying goes if we all liked the same things it'd be a very boring world

I’ve spent all week catching up on the 1st 4 series & am hooked!!! It is brilliant & I love how the series have been linked with 1 case still not solved.
