"Hi I (Marty) am training for a triathlon, everything going great except the running. Keep having problems with my left knee, have tried strength training to build up the muscles around my knee but every time i get back to running more than a mile it starts to play up again. Meant to be running 6 miles at the moment can't manage 1 or 2 miles without my knee playing up. Had my gait checked using proper running trainers. Brooks ghost as i have a neutral gait and land on my toes. The swimming and biking are easy so it's not fitness related. I have seen runners posting on the forums so thought i'd seek their advice as it's starting to piss me off. I am seeing my doctor today hopefully he can shed some light on things.
