Just seen mine after he reached out needing some support. He commented that I’m on fire and seem so calm, content and in charge - I felt an overwhelming love for him, and happiness that we were mates and in a good place.

Is this closure?!

Endings are funny old things.

I felt this real sense of care that he’s okay but really at no cost to me. Just genuine affection and he seemed to reflect it back despite having a difficult life thing happening. I feel quite uplifted in a way I’ve never before (it’s always hurt a bit or cost me a bit before).

ex husband no feelings either way its like it didnt happen. The guy i was with before jay ended up dying a couple of years ago. I didnt know for a year and found out by accident. It was strange because he had text me about every 6 months for 12 years and then the text stopped and i thought he had eventually moved on but no he died. Also supertwat who i lived with died. Im like the grim reaper

We often see my ex and his partner, recently been to his mum's funeral and the family were very welcoming to us

I’ve only got one ex and that’s my ex husband, he is truly one of my best friends and Doughnuts, he is our biggest supporter and still my go to guy if I need some advice (rare). We still go to the pub and hangout with him and our friends, I’m really close to his girlfriend too.

It’s been fantastic for our sons to see their mum and dad still getting on, we were friends for 9 years before we got married so there isn’t any reason why we wouldn’t after.

If we didn’t have kids together I don’t know if this answer would be different of course but if we didn’t have kids together I don’t think we would have been married for so long, while we didn’t stay together for their sake, we definitely tried harder.

No I don't feel anything for any ex to be honest. It say hello if I bumped into them but id not stop for a chat. I don't hate though. Hating some ex only causes the person who hates pain, so I just move on and i never look back.
