Fab Phone Hands Up!

I was finalising details for a coffee social with a couple on Sunday. They asked me for my number and we went to WhatsApp. Turned out they have a Fab phone for such communications.

I had to chuckle to myself because I’ve got images in my head of a big red old style phone like Batman had, with FAB in big letters across it.

It’s also not the first time I’ve met people who have a Fab phone. So who else has a Fab phone, hands up?

No but after an over-keen stalker type managed to find out a bit too much about me I think I should maybe try being more safety cautious.

Lol yes I have a separate number for fab. My phone takes 2 sim cards so I haven't got to get out the all jangles phone to answer a message lol

Nope. I rarely give out my number unless I really trust the other person and prefer the use of Kik for offsite communication. Most of the time the site is perfectly adequate.

The advantages of not sending your old phone away for recycling after an upgrade....

a throw away phone/burner phone for fab and dirt flicks....the other one is as clean as a vicar's duvet...

We use one. When it’s chraged . Most of the time we just use a dedicated Kik account for comms.

I couldn't be doing with the hassle of 2 phones.

I use the messages here, or if want to chat more then Kik.

Only very special people get my number/WhatsApp so it's not really an issue for me.

No.. I just send a bright light with the letters GK4U silhouetted out and beam it onto the night clouds.

So far I've only got John Campion's (Police Commissioner for West Mercia) attention.

Bat-phone? Just be sensible about who you give your real number out to. Or just use Kik, saves having two phones.

I have a 2nd phone... initially it was when I was dating, I've had a couple of gobshites who didn't understand it was fun but no thanks, so got a PAYG phone that now stays on silent on my bedside table and it now gets used for FAB too

I only use the site.

Very few people on here have my number. I'm very careful and I think this is why I've never had any major issues off the site.

I don't even really use Kick I think that this site is perfectly adequate and I only give my number if I've met someone and want to meet them again.

Only 3 people from fab have my number and we use Whatsapp
