They're window fitters, they should know the score. If in doubt ask them, not us bunch of amateurs....

"Random question....

Tomorrow I'm having a rear window ripped out and patio doors put in it's place. Will the window fitters make the hole big enough for the doors? I'm worried that maybe I was meant to get a builder to make the hole bigger and they'll turn up tomorrow and the doors won't fit.

East Sussex

When we had a front door fitted the fitter made any adjustments, the same with a window at the back.

If the estimator came round and looked he would have noticed that adjustments were required.
