How many times do we read the "how many profile views" thread and men say 1 or 3 or wow 20 today and then complain no one ever messages them?

Rhetorical as it appears a lot... so my question is when men are messaged first or in reply and they are on and off fab or even commenting in forums yet ignore said messages from women is that them bein ambivalent and because they've had the reply don't need to bother to catch attention?

I don’t know because when I’m around I answer my messages promptly. If I’m not interested I usually let them know or delete the message, depending on the message type.

Surprised at your comments, must be aimed at the younger better looking guys! I rarely, receive an unsolicited message from a lady and always reply to any messages promptly. I’m certainly not ambivalent about them.

I understand it ... I get one or two views a week but never anyone talks ... The only person to talk to me is actually darlo herself because I enquired about prices for club. Of which I need to attend . . Eventually. But in forums it's a different story altogether but I don't complain about not getting replies anymore because it simply gets you nowhere.

Surprisingly, I can muster a half decent, potentially engaging response because I have the time to do so.

The way I see it

If they don't respond to an opening message, then the no reply=not interested rule applies just as much

If they don't reply to messages that are in turn replies to ones they sent ... they may still be suffering from shock at receiving a reply

Or maybe they just don't want to appear easy

I can only assume that the same general rules apply for men and women. If you don’t get a reply then it is classed as a polite no thank you.

I do see the hypocrisy of a guy complaining about not getting any interest and then not replying to messages he gets, but I also see that with women and couples.

People are funny things really.

Heavens I always reply to messages , if some one has taken the time to say hello , then it's only polite to reply .

I also understand , women and couples can be bombarded and overwhelmed with messages so if I get a reply it's a jolly thing ,if not the world has not ended

I'm surprised that's been your experience. I can only speak for myself, but I can't imagine many single guys ignoring a message if from a woman or couple...(unless very obviously out of parameters on their profile, like anyone would).

Not saying their response would be a good one (see all the complaints from people over unoriginal messages, or dick pics, or "wanna fuck?" messages!), but judging by what most guys say I don't think many (bar a select few, perhaps) are drowning in messages.

But if there guys complaining no-one messages them and then ignoring messages, they need to make their minds up, LOL!

No reply means they're not interested. Just because a woman mails them doesn't mean they have to reply or fuck her.

Woman are always whining that the messages they get are shit. Yet when they get a decent message they still don't reply.

If they don't reply it's just a lucky escape. No-one wants to meet a rude person.

Sometimes I don't want to or am unable to engage in a conversation, so I'll wait until I have more time. I try to put a bit of effort and thought into some messages. Or I'll think a little while on what I want to say then reply a bit later.

Whereas I can come on to the forums and throw a few comments out without thinking about it too much.

yeah that seems reasonable, should probably make that a rule somewhere maybe ... I'll take a mental note on that ... What about blocking too would you consider that after 72 hours or would you have a tolerance of a couple days to see if they can redeem something back?

I very rarely get a message first of a women, but then again I’m newish on here with no verifications, so it is no surprise but when I do get replies obviously I strike up conversation because I wouldn’t of messaged them in the first place if I wasn’t interested.

I understood it, but dunno what to say. I don't complain about low views, or low messages, or even women deleting my messages.

When I get a message, Ill check it when I have time, if I am on forum it might take a while.

"How many times do we read the "how many profile views" thread and men say 1 or 3 or wow 20 today and then complain no one ever messages them?

Rhetorical as it appears a lot... so my question is when men are messaged first or in reply and they are on and off fab or even commenting in forums yet ignore said messages from women is that them bein ambivalent and because they've had the reply don't need to bother to catch attention?

To be honest I send more than I read so the few lucky times I have received a message or reply properly.

And as I have said many times it’s a law of averages so most of us men never get any replies. I think we would be lucky to even get a delete

I think I’ve been quite fortunate on replies, but it’s not getting me anywhere fast, just baby steps at the moment. But I love good, fun and naughty conversation, so I’m fairly content. It would be nice to see more women make the first move tho and I’m sure many are it’s just not been my experience so far.
