I have visited a couple of clubs now in the North West and have come away feeling humiliated. On both occasions by newbie status has been a big negative, seems single male status = leprosy. Any ideas?

maybe to do with your confidence and how you tried to interact or not interact as the case may be but it's all luck as to who's there on the occasion in question

Worthing

If a newbie, just go along and have the mind-set of making friends. Have a good time!

I've been to clubs as part of forum based outings, which is nice because you'll have people to talk to.

Try looking for socials in your area.

the gym and random places

Really bugs me people feel this way! I encourage all to chat irrespective of known or not and when i venture to other clubs yes it's harder but non expectancy and chatting is a blessing

We were all newbies once. Don't tell them anything,

even if you have nothing to tell!

I wouldn't go that far but its true single males are not a priority but then as a single male your main aim is to empty your balls. In the club situation you have to build up a rapport with people get to know them its not a matter of walk through the door pants down pumpy pumpy and leave. Its no different than going into a strange pub on your own it doesn't click into place immediately.

Alot of clubs have specific newbie nights that are pretty good, you are all in the same boat then

Sorry you have felt like that .. I've always found clubs to be very relaxed environment and have always made time for newbies... male and female alike.

Tonight for instance I have several single guys. A few single Girls and a couple or two that have asked me to help them settle in.

I've found that it depends on which events rather than which clubs. As I've had nights even as a single lady.. that I've been ignored by groups x

Yes I agree it's not a single male thing. I've been to clubs alone and been ignored. It's very much the luck of the draw, depends on who's there on the night

There's plenty of couples or females from here happy to meet at clubs. I'd speak to them and arrange to meet there, I think just the fact you've shown up will go along way

Hang out in the smokers area, even if not a smoker..... you’ll be amazed how quick you start chatting to people - I was given this advice and it definitely works.

When i started swinging a year ago i suffered with confidence problems. Totally normal and you shouldnt worry about this. Even if u arent feeling confident make yourself look confident

Basingstoke

There have been some clubs that I’ve found soooo cliquey, less so for me but for single guys I’ve spoken to there

It’s unfortunate but best advice is to go with a friend or just go with the intention of having fun and making friends rather than playing as it may give off a better vibe

Everyone knows all the cool kids hang out with the smokers

Maybe attend a Greedy Girl type event, single men are more likely to find a more welcoming crowd; but really just treat it as a sociable night out chatting (the key thing!) to like minded people.
