Did I fuck up or did he?

So gal meets guy.

Arrange to meet again.

I say I can't stay over, he think I mean can't come over and he arranges to do something else.

Re-arrange for few days time, only on the day he gets sent away to work. Doesn't get back for over a week. In the meantime chatting and decide to meet up tonight.

Only he didn't read my message this morning I sent last night. I ask if it's still on, he's on fab for an hour but still doesn't read.

I get a bit mad and leave a sarky verification and tell him to block me.

Get a kik saying he's had a blow out 3 hrs ago (with picture) but it doesn't matter, he's seen what I wrote.

I think he should have messaged straight away not 3hrs later if he knew he was gonna be late.

So did I over-react or did he not give me enough consideration?

He then tried to reclaim the moral high ground.

The sarcy veri wasn’t a great move though.

Move on to another.

Well then yes I'd agree, if he spent an hour on fab when he was due to meet you, knowing he would be late, he should have taken the time to message and tell you.

You shouldn't have left the verification though.

Just seems petty to me. I would have just blocked him if he had arranged a meet and blanked me. But I would have given him the benefit of the doubt to begin with

People log in and get distracted at times and miss things. I do wonder though if you had noticed him on for an hour why disn't you contact him again that would have been the sensible thnig to do.

I love sarcastic verifications. My longest ever Veri was a sarcastic one after spending time with someone that treated me pants. It gave me great satisfaction. Must admit I would have done exactly the same

There’s more important things in life than a meet from fab I’m afraid. I wouldn’t dropped everything to meet someone from here.

Yes he should have contacted but some people genuinely forget or are too busy.

To be fair, if I'd been dealing with a blow-out and I'd come back on Fabs to find a sarcy veri, if assume you were a fucking twat and act accordingly.

I think this is commonly referred to as a 1st world problem.

We check our phones on Average 221 times per day for notifications.

It's easy peasy to stay in touch. Therefore lack of comms should be considered intentional.

Situations change and we should all learn to be adaptable.

I tend to confirm the day before or on the day. Say I'm setting off and sent an eta en-route after traffic blockages.

For you i dont think its a problem situation but a problem person. Avoid at all costs. You'll get more of the same type of drama.

So dude has blow out possibly has his phone on/on the internet if hes got fab in another tab it can show him as being online when hes not.
